This sterling silver pendant or charm is designed in the form of a hatching egg, often described as a dinosaur egg. The piece features a smooth exterior with a jagged, zig-zag opening around its circumference. A hinge located near the top allows the two halves to open, revealing a hollow interior. A small integrated stud catch is positioned on the rim to secure the charm in the closed position. The item is fitted with a fixed circular bail and an additional loose jump ring for attachment to a chain or bracelet. The jump ring is stamped with the fineness mark 925, alongside a smaller, indistinct hallmark.

Condition report:
The charm is in good vintage condition. There is visible surface wear consistent with age, including light scratching and minor pitting.
