A mid-20th-century costume jewellery brooch designed as a floral and foliate spray. The piece is crafted from a gold-tone base metal and features multiple curved leaf elements finished with pale lavender-coloured enamel. The design includes five floral clusters, each set with faceted round-cut rhinestones in a combination of deep purple and iridescent Aurora Borealis finishes. All stones are prong-set within the metal framework. The brooch is presented in a textured blue cardboard box with a white fleece lining. No maker marks or signatures are visible from the front.
Condition report:
The brooch is in good vintage condition with all stones present and secure. There is minor wear to the gold-tone plating on the raised edges and stems, and light surface scuffing is visible on the lavender enamel panels, consistent with age and occasional wear. The presentation box shows light shelf wear to the exterior.
