This lot comprises a pair of contemporary ceramic vases featuring matching relief-moulded decoration. The set includes a tall, spindle-shaped vase with a narrow neck and a shorter, rectangular pillow-shaped vase with a wide oval aperture. Both items are decorated with a scrolling foliate and floral acanthus-style design. The off-white ceramic body is finished with a reddish-brown glaze that has been wiped back to highlight the moulded details in the recesses. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the exterior of the pieces.

Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. There are minor surface variations and tiny glaze pinholes inherent to the manufacturing and glazing process.
