A pair of contemporary decorative ceramic jars of graduated sizes, each of bulbous form with a flared and waisted foot. The jars are decorated with a modern pattern of tapered vertical stripes in a reflective metallic silver finish over a polished white ground. The silver stripes are widest at the shoulder and taper towards the base. Each jar is fitted with a coordinating domed cover featuring radial silver ribbing and a pointed silver-toned finial. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are visible on the pieces.
