A vintage mechanical construction set, designated as Outfit No. 6, manufactured by Meccano Ltd, England. The collection comprises an assortment of perforated metal strips, plates, wheels, pulleys, and gears, with components finished in red, green, and blue paint. The hardware is comprised of brass nuts, bolts, and fittings, with rubber tyres fitted to the wheels. The set is presented in its original cardboard box featuring a pictorial lid illustrating a forklift model and text reading MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD. The interior contains a yellow cardboard organisational insert and a central green lithographed tin for small parts, featuring an illustration of a boy and white lettering reading MECCANO. Documentation includes an instruction sheet for a Swing Bridge model 6.16.

Condition report:
The outer box exhibits significant wear consistent with age and use, including heavy tape repairs, surface paper loss, scuffing, and corner fraying. The interior of the lid has extensive blue ink scribbling and doodles. The metal components show signs of play wear, including paint loss and surface oxidisation to some pieces. The set appears substantially complete for a No. 6 outfit, though a full piece count has not been conducted.
