An assortment of items comprising lead crystal champagne flutes and bottles of sparkling wine (4 items total). The champagne flutes are crafted from clear lead crystal and feature tall, slender bowls decorated with deep vertical mitre cuts. The rims are embellished with a wide gilt band featuring an intricately etched repeating scroll and foliate pattern. The stems are distinctive, each with a large, faceted diamond-cut knop above a tapered lower section, set upon a plain circular foot. One flute retains a small gold-toned circular sticker to the base, and the other a small white circular sticker; no permanent maker’s marks are visible.
The wine includes one bottle of Clos Monistrol Vintage 2013 Cava Extra Brut, with a green label and silver neck foil. The second bottle is String of Pearls sparkling wine, featuring a blue label with a repeating circular motif and a central crest depicting an eagle beneath the date 1913.
Condition report:
The glassware is in good condition, exhibiting high clarity and brilliance with no visible chips, cracks, or cloudiness. The gilt decoration to the rims appears well-preserved. Both wine bottles are unopened with labels and foils intact. The wine is sold as a collectable lot and is not guaranteed for consumption.
