This item is a miniature rose bowl, also known as a posy bowl, produced by Stuart Crystal in England. The bowl is crafted from clear cut lead crystal and features a removable silver-toned wire mesh flower frog designed to support short-stemmed flowers. The decorative cutting includes a band of diamond and cross-hatch motifs around the body, with a multi-pointed star-cut design to the base. The piece retains its original oval green and gold paper label reading CRYSTAL Stuart ENGLAND. It is accompanied by its original cardboard presentation box, which features calligraphic text reading A Miniature by Stuart Crystal England and rose illustrations.
Condition report:
The crystal bowl is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or interior cloudiness. The metal flower frog is present and intact, showing minor surface patina consistent with age. The original box shows light shelf wear and minor age-related toning but remains structurally sound.
