A pair of silver-plated rose bowls produced by the British manufacturer Ianthe. Each bowl features a bulbous body supported by a flared pedestal foot. The rim and base of each piece are decorated with cast bands of foliate and floral scroll motifs. Both bowls are fitted with removable wire mesh inserts designed to support flower stems. The items are presented in their original blue and white manufacturer’s cardboard boxes, which bear the Ianthe brand logo consisting of the letters I, A, N, T, H, E within a rectangular frame. One rose bowl remains in its original sealed plastic packaging with a printed safety warning.
Condition report:
One rose bowl is loose and shows light surface wear, minor scratches, and areas of tarnish consistent with display or light use. The second rose bowl is in its original, unopened protective plastic wrapping. The original cardboard presentation boxes show signs of shelf wear, including scuffing, edge wear, and residue from old adhesive tape.
