A late 19th or early 20th-century wall mirror. The frame is constructed from a dark-stained wood and features a decorative carved pediment. This pediment consists of a central fan or shell motif flanked by scrolling foliate designs, positioned above a stepped cornice. The upper shoulders of the frame are embellished with stylised floral carvings. The main rectangular frame has chamfered inner edges holding the mirror plate. No maker’s marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The rectangular mirror plate shows age-related wear, including visible foxing and silvering loss, particularly towards the bottom edge. Light surface scratches are present across the glass. The wooden frame exhibits minor surface wear and small marks consistent with age.
