A large, bulbous rose bowl of substantial weight, crafted from clear lead crystal. The body is decorated with a wide, continuous band of etched and wheel-carved botanical motifs. The pattern features a prominent multi-petalled flower alongside clusters of round berries on stems and scrolling foliage. The design employs a combination of polished clear cuts and frosted, satin-finished etching to create visual depth. The bowl is finished with a thick, plain polished rim and a deeply cut multi-point radial starburst design to the base. A small, square white adhesive label with a black logo is present on the interior rim. The decoration is in the style of the Honeysuckle pattern by Royal Brierley.
Condition report:
The bowl is in good condition, with the glass exhibiting high clarity and no evidence of internal clouding. No chips or cracks are visible. There is minor surface scuffing to the underside of the base consistent with handling and domestic use.
