A set of silver-plated flatware in the Art Deco style, consisting of several spoons and a matching larger serving spoon. The pieces are constructed from silver-plated metal, likely electroplated nickel silver (EPNS). Each item features a distinctive handle design with a flared, squared-off terminal decorated with vertical fluted and stepped detailing. The set is presented in its original fitted case, which has a blue textured exterior. The interior is lined with white gathered satin in the lid and a blue velvet-covered base with individual slots. The serving spoon is secured in the lid by a metal retaining clip. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible.
Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition with a bright, reflective finish. There is light surface scratching and minor wear consistent with age and occasional use. The presentation case remains functional with intact hinges and clasps, showing minor external scuffing and light age-related discolouration to the interior satin lining.
