A collection of two fixed-spool fishing reels, each paired with a drawstring velvet storage bag. The first reel is a dark blue model identified on the spool as a Barbarian Carp with a gear ratio of 5.2:1. The body of the reel is marked with the number 50 and features a rear drag adjustment system and a silver-toned handle with a black knob. The second reel is a vintage-style unit with a gold metallic finish and a burgundy handle knob. This reel features a label on the spool housing reading Modified Spool. Both reels are marked with small white stickers bearing the number 335. The items are accompanied by two velvet drawstring bags, one in forest green and one in burgundy red, both finished with yellow tassels. The bags feature gold-toned embroidered lettering, with fragments including NERS and HER visible on the red bag.
Condition report:
Both reels show signs of previous use and age. The Barbarian Carp reel exhibits surface scuffing and notable paint loss on the handle arm and base. The gold-toned reel shows general surface wear and oxidation consistent with a vintage item. Both velvet bags show light surface lint and wear but remain intact with tassels attached.
