Re - Run Sunday, Gold & Silver, Coins, Watches, Antiques & Collectables (14% Buyers Commission)
An early to mid-20th-century Arts and Crafts style tea trolley or service cart constructed from solid oak. The top tier features a low-profile gallery rail on three sides above a single drawer that pulls out from the side, showcasing visible finger-jointed construction. The structure is supported by four square-section legs that house a second lower rectangular shelf. The entire piece is mounted on four original-style small metal swivel castors. The timber displays a prominent grain throughout, characteristic of oak furniture from this period. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The trolley is in good used condition consistent with its age and utility. There is general surface wear present, including minor scratches, scuffs, and small indentations. A prominent dark mark or natural blemish is visible on the front apron of the top tier. The lower shelf displays a darker finish or patina compared to the upper tier. The metal castors show surface oxidation but appear intact and functional.
