A collection of multiple hardcover bound volumes of Stand To!, the official journal of the Western Front Association. The volumes are uniformly bound in black textured faux-leather boards with gilt-stamped titles and the Association’s poppy logo to the spines. Each volume contains collected issues of the periodical, which focuses on the history of the First World War (1914-1918) with a specific emphasis on the Western Front. Visible issues include Number 108 (January/February 2017) and Number 110 (October 2017). The internal pages are printed on glossy paper and feature historical photographs, maps, scholarly articles, and contemporary advertisements. The journal was founded in 1980 by John Giles. These editions were edited by Jon Cooksey and produced by APP Publishing Consultants of Macclesfield on behalf of the Western Front Association.
Condition report:
The volumes are in good overall condition with some light shelf wear to the exterior boards and minor rubbing to the gilt-stamped lettering. The internal pages are clean, bright, and free from significant marking or foxing. The bindings remain tight and secure.
