A set of heptagonal 50 pence coins featuring colour-printed reverse designs. The designs depict a Chimpanzee, a Barbary Ape, a Baboon, and a Red Colobus Monkey, each with corresponding inscriptions. The coins are struck in silver-toned base metal. The collection is housed within a folding card presentation folder titled Primates A Four Coin Set, which includes informational text about the species shown. Each coin is protected within a clear plastic capsule. These coins were issued as legal tender for the territory of Gibraltar and struck by the Pobjoy Mint.
Condition report:
The coins appear to be in brilliant uncirculated condition within their protective capsules. The card presentation folder shows minor signs of shelf wear, including light rubbing and small indentations to the corners and edges.
