A British Mid-Century Modern teak dressing table, manufactured circa 1960s. The piece features a wide rectangular top surface supporting a large landscape-oriented mirror on a tilting adjustable wooden frame. The chest is configured with four drawers arranged in two columns of two. Each drawer is fitted with signature circular recessed wooden dish pull handles. The unit is elevated on four tapered cylindrical legs. The design and construction are characteristic of pieces produced by British manufacturers such as Wrighton during the mid-20th century.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The teak-veneered top surface displays light scratches, minor fading, and small watermarks. There are minor chips and scuffs to the veneer, notably on the bottom left corner and along the lower front edges. The mirror plate shows signs of age, including foxing and loss of silvering particularly visible along the bottom edge. The piece remains structurally sound with all handles present.
