A substantial collection of cream-coloured earthenware dinner service components by Johnson Brothers, England. The pieces are manufactured on the company’s Pareek body and decorated in the Devon pattern. The decoration features a vibrant cobalt blue border with intricate transfer-printed white and yellow floral motifs and foliate scrolls, finished with gilt rims and hand-painted gilt highlights to the handles and finials. The collection includes two circular twin-handled lidded tureens, an assortment of graduated oval serving platters, and multiple dinner plates, luncheon plates, and side plates. The undersides bear printed marks in blue reading PAREEK, Johnson Bros, England, and Devon beneath a crown symbol.

Condition report:
The service shows signs of age and use, with extensive fine crazing to the glaze visible across most pieces, notably on the tureen lids and plates. There is minor wear to the gilt rims and highlights. No significant chips or structural repairs were observed during inspection.
