The tin was manufactured by Smith Kendon Ltd. for Linseed, Licorice & Chlorodyne Lozenges, with the address 132, Borough, London, S.E.1, England. The coinage includes a group of brass threepence coins with the crowned portcullis reverse, featuring portraits of George VI and Elizabeth II. The lot also contains several cupro-nickel commemorative crowns: a 1981 Royal Wedding crown (Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer) in a plastic flip, a 1977 Silver Jubilee crown, a 1953 Coronation crown, and a 1965 Winston Churchill commemorative crown.
