A pair of decorative hurricane-style candle holders or lusters. Each piece comprises a clear glass shade with a wide, flared rim that tapers towards the base, seated upon a stepped, pedestal-style base finished in a polished gold-tone metal. The glass shades are adorned with multiple suspended strands of decorative beads hooked over the upper rims. These strands consist of alternating faceted amber-coloured beads and silver-tone openwork filigree metal beads, terminating in large, faceted clear glass or crystal pendants and smaller amber-coloured drops. The holders are fitted with a pair of red spiral-moulded wax candles, each featuring gold-painted highlights along the ridges. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible. A small adhesive retail label is partially visible on one glass shade, but the text is illegible.
