A group cranberry glass liqueur sets, each crafted from hand-blown ruby glass with silver overlay decoration. The first set is a seven-piece group comprising one stoppered decanter and six matching liqueur glasses. The decanter is designed with a flared, conical body, a multi-ringed neck, and a corresponding glass stopper. The six glasses feature a flared bowl above a narrowed waist and a spreading pedestal foot. The decoration on this set depicts stylised birds perched among scrolling foliage and leafy stems, accented by panels of geometric cross-hatching and plain silver bands at the rims and bases.
Condition report:
appear to be in good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or significant scratches are visible to the glass, and the cranberry colour remains vibrant. There is noticeable tarnishing and oxidation to the silver overlay on all pieces, which is typical for items of this age. Minor rubbing or thinning of the silver may be present in high-contact areas.
