Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £1

Buyer's Premium:

A set of six machine-made clear glass tumblers of slightly tapered cylindrical form with thickened bases. Each glass is decorated with a polychrome screen-printed enamel vignette in the Gay Nineties style, depicting couples in various historical costumes ranging from the 18th century through the Victorian era. The illustrations are rendered in a bright primary colour palette of red, blue, green, yellow, and black. This style of decorative glassware was commonly produced in the mid-20th century by manufacturers such as Anchor Hocking and Ravenhead. No maker’s marks, backstamps, or signatures are visible on the bases or bodies of the glasses.

Condition report:

The glasses are in good vintage condition. The enamel decorations remain vibrant and appear largely intact across the set. No significant chips, cracks, or surface abrasions are visible in the overview photographs.
