A roll of galvanised steel barbed wire wound around a rudimentary wooden spool. The wire features four-pointed barbs positioned at regular intervals throughout the length of the roll. The wooden reel is constructed from two flat cross-sections joined by a central core, with a circular aperture at the top designed for ease of transport or mounting. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on either the wire or the wooden frame.
Condition report:
The item appears to be in unused condition. The galvanised finish remains bright with no significant signs of corrosion or oxidation. The wooden reel shows minor surface wear and splintering consistent with handling and storage.
