This portable benchtop manual parts washer is constructed with a blue-painted steel reservoir and a red-painted hinged lid. The interior design features a removable perforated metal drainage shelf and a flexible metal gooseneck nozzle for the distribution of cleaning solvent. A damaged safety warning label is affixed to the underside of the lid, instructing that only recommended water-soluble cleaning solutions should be used and warning against the use of highly volatile flammable liquids. The safety fusible link, typically used to automatically close the lid in the event of a fire, appears to be missing and has been replaced by a simple metal strap. The safety warning label is partially peeled and illegible in sections.
