This collection consists of five glazed ceramic character jugs manufactured by Royal Doulton. The assortment includes a large Falstaff jug, a large King Henry VIII jug, a medium Old Charley jug, a miniature Falstaff jug, and a small Paddy jug. The large Falstaff jug features a prominent backstamp on the base with the Royal Doulton lion and crown mark, stating Made in England, Falstaff, D 6385, and a copyright date of 1949. This figure is depicted with a grey beard and pink headwear. The King Henry VIII jug shows the monarch in a jewelled crown and patterned robes. Old Charley is rendered as a night watchman in a dark tricorn hat accented with a sprig of holly. The Paddy jug is depicted wearing a green cap and a brown waistcoat. All pieces are finished with a polychrome glaze and show detailed moulded features.

Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. Some pieces may exhibit fine surface crazing to the glaze, which is typical for ceramic items of this period.
