This is a contemporary ladder-style leaning etagere or bookcase constructed from a light-toned wood, possibly rubberwood or bamboo, with a clear natural finish. The unit features two vertical side supports designed to lean flush against a wall surface. It is fitted with five fixed shelves of graduated depth, increasing from the top to the base. Each shelf is constructed as a shallow tray with raised borders on the rear and sides to prevent items from falling. The assembly shows visible screw fixings on the exterior sides of the uprights, characteristic of modern mass-produced furniture. There are no visible maker marks or labels.
Condition report:
The bookcase is in good used condition. There are some minor surface scratches and scuffs to the wood finish, particularly on the shelf surfaces, consistent with age and domestic use. The structure appears stable.
