A UK silver proof commemorative two-pound coin struck by the Royal Mint to mark the XIII Commonwealth Games held in Scotland. The reverse features the thistle and laurel design by Leslie Durbin, and the obverse bears the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. Struck in .925 sterling silver, the coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule. It is presented in its original blue textured presentation case with silver-toned lettering and includes the original descriptive card.
Condition report:
Proof striking in uncirculated condition. The coin displays mirrored fields and frosted details with no visible toning, spotting, or surface marks. The presentation case and card are in good condition.
