The first cover marks the Royal Air Force 80th Anniversary (1918-1998) and features a 1998 Guernsey five pound (£5) coin. It includes two postage stamps, a 20p Mitchell Supermarine Spitfire (SG 1978) and a 26p bomber (SG 1979), both cancelled with circular date stamps from Halton Camp, Bucks, dated 1 April 1998. The second cover commemorates the 50th Anniversary of D-Day (1944-1994) and contains a UK 1994 fifty pence (50p) coin alongside a strip of five 25p commemorative stamps (SG 1822-1826), cancelled with a Portsmouth circular date stamp on 6 June 1994; this item is numbered M 41806. The third cover commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift (1948-1949) and contains a commemorative medallion, two 1st class Machin definitives, and a commemorative aircraft stamp, all cancelled with RAF Museum Grahame Park Way London NW9 circular date stamps dated 12 May 1999. All items are presented in illustrated card envelopes with the currency and medallion secured in protective inset capsules.

Condition report:
