Description
This lot comprises an extensive collection of costume stud earrings and a large quantity of separate backings. The earrings are fashioned from a white-toned base metal, each featuring a faceted synthetic rhinestone. These stones are presented in a wide spectrum of colours including red, blue, green, yellow, pink, black, and clear, and are cut into various shapes such as round, square, and floral patterns. The stones are secured within prong-set mounts on post-style settings. The style of these items corresponds with BeDazzler brand rhinestone refills used for garment and jewellery decoration. The included backings consist of both metal butterfly scrolls and clear silicone bullet-style backs. The items are housed in a pink plastic storage tub and two separate plastic bags. No hallmarks or maker’s marks were observed during inspection.
Condition report:
The collection is in a mixed, used condition. While many pieces appear to be in pairs, the total count and completeness of all pairs have not been confirmed. There is visible wear consistent with bulk storage, including potential minor scuffing to the stones and tarnishing to the base metal posts.
