Description
A pair of contemporary stylised giraffe sculptures, comprising one larger adult and one smaller yearling figure. These pieces are constructed from individual metal plates welded together to create a patchwork effect, replicating the animals natural markings. The taller figure is posed looking forward, while the smaller figure is depicted looking upward toward the larger one. Both sculptures feature a mottled black and silver-grey finish with a textured surface. They stand on four slender legs that terminate in small circular pad feet. These items are designed as decorative accents for either a home or garden setting. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on either piece.
