Description
A collection of stag horn handled flatware and serving pieces by Anton Wingen Jr of Solingen, Germany. The set features handles crafted from natural deer antler in varying tones and textures, fitted with polished stainless steel blades, tines, and bowls. The assembly includes table knives, steak knives, table forks, dessert spoons, and smaller spoons. Included is a three-piece carving set comprising a large carving knife, a two-pronged meat fork with a safety guard, and a sharpening steel. The blades are marked Stainless. The construction incorporates polished metal bolsters.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition overall. The stainless steel components show minor surface scratching and light signs of wear consistent with use. The natural horn handles exhibit expected variations in colour, texture, and shape.
