Description
A pair of contemporary hand-carved wooden duck figurines produced by The Duck Company UK (DCUK). The bodies are constructed from bamboo root, displaying a characteristic textured and pitted grain, while the heads and necks are carved from a contrasting smooth hardwood. Each duck features a unique name tag attached to the neck with twine; one tag reads my name is henry and the other reads my name is clementine. Both figures have painted webbed feet and a coloured plastic band on one leg, with Henry wearing a blue band and Clementine wearing a yellow band. The original manufacturer’s tags include the company website address.
