Description
A pair of contemporary art glass sculptures in the Seaside Swirl style, each hand-formed from solid translucent teal glass. The sculptures feature a tapering curved form with a tight spiral at the base, reminiscent of a stylised wave or flame. Each piece is mounted on a matching clear rectangular base, likely glass or polished acrylic. The style is consistent with modern Murano-style decorative glass. Due to the hand-pulled construction, there are slight variations in form between the two items. The base of one sculpture bears partial gold-toned characters reading ME, while the base of the second sculpture features a similar but blurred mark. These pieces are characteristic of modern decorative glass often utilised for corporate awards or interior accents.
