Description
A Royal Mint philatelic and numismatic commemorative set issued to mark the centenary of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The set consists of a Bank of England five-pound banknote, Series E, bearing serial number QM10 007203 and the signature of Chief Cashier Merlyn Lowther. Also included is a five-pound commemorative crown coin featuring the Queen Mother obverse with the dates 1900-2000 and a facsimile signature. The set is completed by a five-pound Windsor Castle postage stamp, cancelled with a Clarence House postmark dated 4 August 2000. The items are housed within the original Royal Mint presentation folder, which bears a matching serial number label QM10 007203 and the manufacturer mark for Royal Mint Llantrisant.
Condition report:
All items are in uncirculated condition as issued. The banknote remains crisp with no folds or handling marks. The coin shows no signs of circulation or toning. The presentation folder is in excellent condition with no visible wear, creasing, or foxing.
