Description
A pair of 925 silver commemorative proof coins issued to celebrate Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The first coin is a 1994 Cayman Islands One Dollar featuring the Raphael Maklouf obverse and a coat of arms reverse with the legend Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and Born 4th August 1900. The second coin is a 1997 Republic of Malawi 20 Kwacha featuring the national coat of arms on the obverse and a Girl Guide reverse inscribed The Young Girl Guide Elizabeth and dated 1920. Both coins are struck in 925 silver. These coins were issued as part of international commemorative programmes honouring Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
