Description
A contemporary decorative clock integrated into a metal bicycle. The frame is constructed from thin metal rods and sheet metal, finished in various colours including red, blue, green, and a weathered gold-tone. The larger bicycle frame is painted red and blue, ideal for hanging while the smaller foreground bicycle features a metallic gold-tone finish with a green chain guard. The circular clock face is set within the front wheel of the smaller bicycle and features a cream-coloured background with a decorative crackle-glaze effect. The dial is marked with black Roman numerals and has decorative black hands. The clock is powered by a battery-operated quartz movement. There are no visible maker’s marks or brand names on the dial or frame.
Condition report:
The quartz movement is untested and batteries are not included. One wheel spoke on the larger bicycle is slightly bent. The metalwork and painted finish show minor signs of wear consistent with use.
