Description
A pair of contemporary photographic triptychs featuring photojournalistic imagery related to modern warfare and conflict. The first triptych comprises three colour chromogenic or digital pigment prints depicting silhouetted military personnel loading ammunition, a tank against a sunset horizon, and an aircraft-mounted machine gun overlooking an urban landscape. The second triptych contains three black and white silver gelatin or digital pigment prints showing civilian and military figures in a conflict zone, including scenes of surrender and emotional distress. Both sets are presented in matching wide-profile, brown wood-effect frames with off-white multi-aperture card mounts. No signatures, stamps, or edition numbers are visible on the front of the works.
