Description
A hand-blown art glass paperweight of spherical form. The construction features a solid deep cobalt blue lower section encased within a clear glass overlay. The internal decorative elements consist of a central clear glass swirl and a precise ring of controlled air bubbles situated at the top of the sphere. This style of paperweight, incorporating internal colour swirls and controlled bubbles, is characteristic of mid-to-late 20th century production from various British and European glassworks. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the body or the base.
