Description
A collection of British pre-decimal and decimal coinage along with various world issues, presented in a red vinyl binder embossed with Coin Album in gold-coloured script. The British selection includes cupro-nickel sixpences with dates ranging from 1953 to 1967, featuring the crowned Tudor rose, thistle, shamrock, and leek reverse. Also present is a 1967 brass twelve-sided threepence with a crowned portcullis design and cupro-nickel half crowns dated 1955 and 1961. The bronze coinage includes pennies from the reigns of Edward VII and George V. International coins include modern Euro cent denominations and a holed coin of Scandinavian origin. The binder contains clear plastic multi-pocket pages held by a metal ring mechanism.
Condition report:
The coins are in varied circulated condition, exhibiting typical signs of wear, surface contact marks, and toning. The album shows minor external wear and some splitting to the vinyl at the spine.
