Description
An Enfants Riches Deprimes Iron Cross pendant necklace. The pendant is modelled on a German Iron Cross 2nd Class (1914 issue) and features a dark-toned core within a raised, beaded silver-tone frame. One face displays a central oak leaf cluster, a crown above the initials FW on the upper arm, and the commemorative date 1813 on the lower arm. The alternate face is marked with a central W, a crown on the upper arm, and the issue date 1914 on the lower arm. The pendant is suspended from a heavy, multi-link chain.
Condition report:
The item exhibits visible surface wear, with loss to the dark finish on the high points of the frame. There is a deep patina across the chain and pendant.
