Description
An assortment of military and personal items housed within a wooden box. The lid features a ceramic tile inset decorated with a rose motif and the printed text Buckingham. Military items include a black felt shoulder board with red piping featuring a gold-tone crown over crossed cannons, alongside various United States Army enlisted branch insignia lapel discs including artillery and civil affairs. The collection further contains a pair of bronze-tone winged badges, several pairs of metal cufflinks, a silver-tone pocket knife, copper-alloy coins, a Boss Hog novelty pin, and electrical fuses.
Condition report:
The ceramic tile to the lid is visibly cracked into several pieces. The wooden box shows surface wear and scuffing consistent with age. The metal items exhibit varying degrees of tarnish and age-related patina.
