Description
A mid-century Price Kensington Athena pattern ceramic vase of cylindrical form. The body is decorated with a central band of dark green embossed scrollwork relief, bordered by two bands of vibrant blue glaze featuring repeating geometric circular motifs. The shoulder and tapered neck are finished in a mottled green glaze with a textured surface. The base bears the printed mark of Price Kensington within a wreath logo, alongside the text MADE IN ENGLAND, ATHENA, and P&K, and an incised character.
Height: 9 inches (23 cm).
Condition report:
The piece is in good condition, showing fine crazing to the glaze on the base and light wear to the unglazed foot rim consistent with age.
