Description
A group of three cast brass animal figurines, comprising a stylised pig and two deer. The pig is characterised by a smooth, polished surface and simplified anatomical forms. The two deer figurines, one standing with antlers and the other in a grazing pose, feature naturalistic cast-textured surfaces depicting fur and spotted markings. The pieces are of cast construction. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
Condition report:
All items exhibit age-related wear, including surface tarnish and minor pitting. There are areas of green oxidation (verdigris) present within the textured details of the deer figurines. The pig shows darker patches of oxidation and surface wear.
