This collection of 925 silver commemorative coins comprises various issues from Papua New Guinea, the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Solomon Islands, and the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The group includes a Papua New Guinea 1998 5 Kina featuring a national emblem obverse and a 1969 investiture reverse. The Commonwealth of The Bahamas 1997 2 Dollars features a Raphael Maklouf obverse and a 1908 portrait reverse. The Solomon Islands 1994 One Dollar features a Raphael Maklouf obverse and a coat of arms reverse. The Bailiwick of Guernsey 2006 Five Pounds features a selectively gilded Ian Rank-Broadley obverse and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother on the reverse. All coins are struck with a proof finish, characterised by mirrored fields and frosted devices, and are housed in individual protective plastic capsules.
Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated condition with no visible toning, spotting, or metal wear. The proof finish is well-preserved across all examples. The protective plastic capsules exhibit light surface scuffing.
