Description
A pair of contemporary stoneware jugs featuring cream-coloured glazes and stylised decorative motifs, attributed to the Odina range by Bloomingville. The first jug is of bulbous form with a wide spout and looped handle, decorated with a central band of red flowers and green foliage set between thin horizontal blue lines. The second jug is of taller, tapered cylindrical form, featuring horizontal registers of red hearts, green foliate scrolls, and small red flower heads. Some decorative elements on the tapered jug include white dashed detailing suggestive of needlework or embroidery. Both pieces are constructed from moulded stoneware with hand-painted or transfer-printed decoration in a rustic aesthetic. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the exterior of either piece.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or significant surface wear are visible upon inspection. The glazes remain bright and the decorative motifs are well-preserved.
