Description
This lot comprises two decorative figurines of ethnographic inspiration, likely produced as collectibles or souvenirs in the late 20th century. The first item is a sculptural bust of a Native American male figure portrayed with weathered features, wearing a buffalo-horn headdress, braided hair, a multi-strand beaded choker, and a circular pendant. The piece is constructed from cast resin or a similar cold-cast composite material and has been hand-painted with a matt finish to simulate natural textures such as hide, horn, and beadwork. The bust is mounted on an integral, circular plinth finished in a brick-red colour. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible. The second item is a hand-carved figurine of a stylized human figure in a squatting posture.
