Description
This collection of decorative model artillery features various styles of historical ordnance. The largest piece is a replica of a 16th-century cannon, featuring a cast metal barrel with relief ornamentation including foliate motifs and crests. It is mounted on a wooden field carriage with metal-rimmed spoked wheels and metal chain fittings. A rectangular metal plaque on the carriage is inscribed Canon XVIe siècle, Collection d’Artillerie, and Musée de l’Armée. The collection also includes a naval-style model with a smooth-bore brass-tone metal barrel mounted on a stepped wooden truck carriage with four wheels. Additionally, there are matching cast metal field guns with a brass-effect finish and spoked wheels.

Condition report:
