Description
An officially licensed Beatrix Potter figurine money box designed by The Border Fine Arts Studios. The hand-painted composite resin piece depicts Mrs. Rabbit in a blue dress and white apron tending to Peter Rabbit, who is tucked into a bed with a green wood-effect headboard. Mrs. Rabbit is shown holding a bowl and spoon. The item functions as a money box with a horizontal coin slot located on the back of the Mrs. Rabbit figure and a circular recessed opening with a removable plastic stopper on the base. The underside is marked with the following text: BEATRIX POTTER, copyright Frederick Warne and Co. 1994, Licensed by Copyrights, Designed by The Border Fine Arts Studios, 282820, and China.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with minor surface wear and small scuffs consistent with age, primarily visible on the green-painted headboard. The original plastic base stopper is present. No chips, cracks, or repairs are evident.
