Description
A large ceramic centrepiece bowl produced in the Rococo-revival style, featuring a deep teal-green glaze with polychrome and gilt accents. The vessel is designed with elaborate scrolled handles and a matching scalloped pedestal base, both decorated with gilt floral motifs. A central hand-painted cartouche depicts a classical mythological scene containing multiple figures and a chariot. The underside of the footed base displays an impressed numerical mark 9 alongside other indistinct incised markings.

Condition report:
The item is in good condition with visible surface crazing to the central hand-painted scene. There is minor wear to the gilt highlights consistent with age and handling.
