Lot 168:
Description
This lot consists of two model vehicles of different scales and construction. The first is a large-scale model of a 1928 Lincoln limousine, primarily constructed from tinplate and pressed steel. The vehicle features a black and grey body with a textured faux-leather effect roof and a red interior. Decorative components include brass-toned headlights and a radiator grille marked LINCOLN, with a front bumper plate reading AD 1928. The model is fitted with plastic tyres, including a side-mounted spare tyre marked with an OFF switch, indicating an internal battery-operated or clockwork mechanism. The second item is a die-cast metal model of a Volkswagen Type 2 Microbus, finished in a two-tone blue and white colour scheme. It features plastic windows, trim, and a front license plate marked Classical Bus. The front of the bus bears the circular VW logo.
Lincoln Limousine: approximately 25 cm – 26 cm in length
Volkswagen Microbus: approximately 12 cm – 13 cm in length.
Condition report:
Both items are in used condition and are unboxed. The Lincoln limousine shows visible surface dust and minor wear to the paintwork and metallic finishes; the internal mechanism is untested. The Volkswagen Microbus is in generally good condition with some surface dust.
