Description
This maritime folk art diorama features a detailed model of a four-masted sailing vessel contained within a clear glass bottle. The ship is constructed with a black and white painted hull and a red underside, with the name ROCHESTER printed in red lettering on the stern. The vessel features intricate thread rigging and is set into a textured, polychrome putty base representing a sea-scape with white-capped waves. The bottle is sealed with a natural cork stopper.

Condition report:
The model remains in good overall condition with the rigging intact and upright. The glass bottle is clear and free from significant damage. The putty sea-base exhibits minor age-related drying and fine cracking consistent with age.
